01/07: Fishing forecast
FRESHWATER: Try fishing the Butler Chain, concentrating on deeper waters for both bass and crappie. Use spinnerbaits, plastic worms and shiners for bass. Fishing has been good in the middle of the day when water temperatures have warmed up. Crappie will hit minnows, jigs and small spinnerbaits.
